I'm thinking about Daskon, Pramila, Punni, Maitland and Lovina again and again. I'm thinking about unconventional love and the the love that does not belong to lovers repeatedly after reading Lovina. And it is a story of women that tortured by love, lust and all other clashes.Īnd please don't care about my language grammar and all.I'm completely messed up. ![]() It is a story of of lovers who did not have a chance to claim their true love. This story is not merely a combination of historical and emotional love tale. But it is a story of love that crushed by caste, betrayal, authority. Story of Mount Lavinia is forever unforgettable. Now I feel like he was a Shah Jahan, a prince Saliya and a "Daskon"Īs Thomas Maitland expected, his and Lovina's love story is still alive. When learning History, I used to see Maitland in an angry eye and I hated him but I'll do it no longer. ![]() The way Punni get caught by the king and the way Daskon finds out his childhood "friend" Punni as a totally different person. It is really sad.I feel like I want to time travel and warn Daskon about his stupid, fatal mistake.Īnd I understand leaving your loved one is really a pain.Thomas Maitland's attempt to be with his lover Lovina is really emotional. He did many things for her but unfortunately he had to leave Lovina. Īlso love affairs between Daskon and Pramila, Daskon and Punni and Daskon's untimely tragic death made me cry soo much. I finished this book few hours ago and I found myself staring at an empty wall, feeling so broken.I feel my heart is crushed with the pathetic lives of those women (specially Punni and Lovina).
